This ugly business goes way, way back.

Myth is 100% owned by banksters. Banksters, of course, will vote for their boy. Non-banksters have to be crazy to vote for Myth.

..besides the obvious. Mormons actually have cash registers in their temples. They charge members to rent the required special clothes if the dont own their own. Nevermind the 10%,of gross they already are required to pay the church. I just think its wrong on so many levels, and goes to how it truly is more a corporation, than church. Also lends a little more insight on where Mitts mindset comes from.

even " money changers" has room to cram him in, linguistically speaking.

It's in keeping with the spirit of the myth, if not the letter. An update, perhaps. Happens all the time.

Anywho...Jesus would not care a whit for willard, if we compare Christ's words to Willard's actions.

The bible is very clear on lending money...and yet, it is profoundly overlooked. All money lenders who claim to be Christian are hypocrites, and best be hushin' they mouths when it comes to the whole marriage equality thing, lest they be for it.

“If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him. "

It goes on and on...

EDIT: here's one for Mitt, who never himself payed back loans at Bain, not part of the plan...

"Psalm 37:21

The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives"

But it sure is hard to find the ones that don't charge usury. Funnily enough, it seems the only ones who aren't charged interest are the ones at the top. As usual, Republicans & Conservative Christians see no hypocrisy in this. Or in vast amounts of money being spent on killing people instead of blessing them. On judging them instead of helping them. On exploiting them instead of healing them. On persecuting them instead of feeding them. Everything they stand for is the opposite of what the New Testament demands from them. I call them Bizarro Christians. "That is good sin. Here is much money."
With the advent of the knowledge of Climate Change it has gotten even more ludicrous. As Kerry said last night, the rising oceans are Christian concerns. We are piss poor stewards of the lands and the people. Trading them all for money on the stock market. Profiting from the destruction of the gifts we are given. Again, Bizarro.
No thought for the future, no concern for anyone but themselves, no problem bowing to the golden calf and profiting from war, child labor, environmental destruction, weapons manufacturing, nuclear power, clear cutting & fracking.
All of them evil, all exacerbated by the love of money.
