I am personally loving watching the right wing melt down at the news of the evidence of Trump's DNA on a victim's dress. The hypocrisy of it all. The people who spent years blasting Bill Clinton for that are now making excuses for Trump. And what's even crazier is that this is literally worse than what Clinton did. Pass the salt and butter.

(25,430 posts)The lawyers are requesting a sample to compare to the one on the dress. Unless there's been a further development, I'm not aware of anything definitively linking Trump to it. Yet.

(16,254 posts)Apparently, it was, so they are calling for Trump to provide a sample.

(25,430 posts)Ignoring, for the sake of making a point, the power imbalance, Clinton's encounter was consensual.
If the victim's statement is accurate (and in the context of a dozen others, it's certainly believable), Trump's was decidedly not.

(25,430 posts)She was wearing the dress during the alleged sexual assault.
The point was that Clinton's relationship was consensual. Trump's was not. I thought I made that clear.

(3,678 posts)Ok, I found it:
Carrolls lawyers served notice to a Trump attorney on Thursday, asking that Trump provide a sample for analysis and comparison against unidentified male DNA present on the dress, the Associated Press first reported. Carrolls lawyers requested Trump provide the DNA sample on March 2 in Washington.

You know Trump will just say that yes, they had sex, but no, he didn't assault her. He will skate like Brett.

(7,402 posts)Yes, they have extracted DNA from a dress. But they don't yet know who it belongs to so they are requesting a DNA sample from Trump. Even if the DNA should prove to be Trump's the custody of the dress for all of these years creates a problem. Oh, Trump claims that he doesn't know this woman so that is out there too.
