Now is the time, when it possibly could make a difference. Once the regurgicans vote the door will close. I dont doubt that afterwards Trump will be so insufferable that a lot of people will be willing to take to the streets. But at that point he might call out the national guard and start shooting people like the 70s.

We're just too dependent on our jobs, too apathetic, and too spread out for protests to really do any good.

(7,640 posts)6. I think a majority of people now have Electronic Screen Syndrome -- addiction to cell phones,etc
Individuals are walling themselves off from others with screens & earbuds, and losing track of time and reality.
We need to put down the phones & get out in the streets!!!
