The biggest convention mistake...

Was failing to demand that Romney must vsit the troops in Afghanistan. He was a draft dodger who wants to be commander in chief. I wanted to see Dems push him into a corner by demanding he go to Afghanistan rather than jetskiing in New Hampshire

Recall, during 2008 campaign, Obama toured Iraq and Afghanistan. He shot hoops with troops in Kuwait. In Afghanistan, he had breakfast with troops, had briefing with commanders and had lengthy meeting with Karzi.

I'd be worried he'd get troops KILLED in Afghanistan. Hell, the Europeans are our allies and he pissed them off, we have real enemies over there!

And if you recall from Gov. Schweitzer's speech, Romney (when Governor) was on several trips like that.

That's a silly notion. We don't demand anything. It's Romney's campaign decision whether or not to do something like that.

And let me say something else. No nominee for president should ever fail in the midst of a war to pay tribute to our troops overseas in his acceptance speech. Mitt Romney was talking about America. They are on the front lines every day defending America, and they deserve our thanks.
