HOW PATHETIC! Romney Defends Not Mentioning War, Troops In Convention Speech
Mitt Romney on Friday defended his speech at the Republican National Convention in Tampa last week, in which he made no mention of the war in Afghanistan or the people fighting in it.
"I didn't use the word troops," Romney told Fox News' Bret Bair. "I used the word military. I think they refer to the same thing. And of course going to the American Legion the day before during the middle of our convention made it much bigger statement to our military and our troops than the president who did not go to meet with the American Legion. I spoke to the [Veterans of Foreign Wars] the week before. So I think our american military understands that I'm fully supportive of their effort."
The word "military" appeared twice in Romney's convention speech, but they both referred to military capacity in general. The first:

A nation at war, and this ChickenHawk running to serve as Commander In Chief, can't mention them in any human way. He can't even tell the truth about "cuts". He can't talk about all the veterans who come home with injuries both mental and physical, homelessness, the struggle of their families while they are gone, or after they come home whether in a body bag or not. No he can't talk about the human side of it, he only wants to talk about money and saber rattling.
Please YOU DO NOT CARE about the Military except only in the capacity of what profits that can be made. You have no business being Commander in Chief if you cannot see the human side. Thankfully we already have a Commander In Chief who does care, and a Vice President who DO MENTION THE HUMAN SIDE, who fight for services for Veterans and Troops when they come home, and not just while they are on the battlefield. YOUR PARTY could not even give them the equipment or protective body armor they needed, but sent them off to be mangled in an unnecessary war. PRESIDENT OBAMA, gave them the body armor and protection. President Obama ended a war we should have never been in...President Obama is trying to end the other one.
Sir, The United States is not a Corporation, it is not up for sale to the highest bidder. It is a Government for the people and by the people, and you do not have the capacity to understand that basic concept. America does not now or ever need a CEO, especially not one that only thinks about the BOTTOM LINE, money.
I think you fail to understand the qualifications of the office you are "applying" for, and this November your "application" full of non-positions, multiple positions, and outright lies will be rejected!
YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED! Go back to Wall Street, because Main Street will reject you!
