I remain mostly anonymous on social media because the RW have threatened my life, stalked me on the net & also in real life, even claiming to know where I live & work. All because I shut them down on Twitter (deleted my FB page last year) & other places such as blogs & online "news" mags. I also have 2 kids. These people who have gathered intel on me are well-known in RW blogosphere, some even appear on TV. Another reason for my anonymity is I'm an activist for social justice & also I need to keep my job. I can completely relate, the Right Wing Nut Jobs are NOT playing. They have literally declared war on us. But, I'm not the type to be intimidated so I keep exposing them for the undercover agent provocateur's they are or the white supremacist groups they belong to. I DO appreciate that you are being respectful and not as accusatory as others, but let me clear some things up. I have personally been on FB for many years. Duchess St. Rollins has been around for about a month and a half. I had NO idea (how could I?) that me freaking out on people on the Internet would be so popular. I have done next to nothing to promote myself and all of the interest has been organic and very surprising.

When I stated to realize this was getting much bigger than I anticipated, I did everything I could to secure my personal information. In retrospect, maybe I should have just deleted my personal FB account all together. Regardless, how is anyone posting a picture of my innocent children with a disgusting caption in any way justified?

I understand if you don't agree with what I write or how I write it, but please have some compassion for my kids.

Duchess then came out on her blog and posted the photos and the comments the hackers had placed on the photos and about the photos. Never mind that they were intended to be KEPT private. C,mon.

Mostly because of privacy settings, that don't seem to work. There was also that massive glitch that allowed people to see private information, they were not supposed to see. I do twitter now because its fairly safe, (Just don't click on links from strange people) and you do not add much personal information in your account. I also like the idea that you can even get a response from a celebrity from time to time. Being that my group is about Asian music and culture, its thrilling to get messages some times from Japanese entertainers and bands...especially from ones I adore!

1--What the hell, Rethugs? Someone calls you on your sh*t, and you feel the need to get personal and threatening? Seriously? How pathetic are you, anyway? (Don't answer that. I think we already know.)

2--Children are OFF limits ... no matter what. We can disagree heatedly on issues ... but leave the children alone.
