Romney on the defensive about his Romneyshambles trip

Romney Responds To Obama’s Dig On London Olympics

President Obama sharply characterized Mitt Romney as being "new" to foreign policy in his speech before the Democratic National Convention last night, citing, among other things, Romney's criticism of the London Olympics that rankled the British press and even London Mayor Boris Johnson.

Speaking to reporters in Iowa on Friday, Mitt Romney said that he was glad his own personal experience leading the Winter Olympics in Utah allowed him to talk frankly with other nations on the world stage, and that he wishes President Obama had the courage to do the same.

"I'm very pleased that my Olympic experience allows me to talk about the Olympics in a straight talk manner and I think it would be appropriate if the president would talk to China in a straight talk manner," Romney said. "They have manipulated their currency for well over a decade. They have taken American jobs and I think it's totally appropriate to show backbone and strength as we deal with other nations around the world. Nothing wrong with telling people the truth. Thanks, guys."

Kerry also called out Romney:

But I say to you: This is not the time to outsource the job of commander in chief. Our opponents like to talk about "American exceptionalism," but all they do is talk. They forget that we are exceptional not because we say we are, but because we do exceptional things. We break out of the Great Depression, win two world wars, save lives fighting AIDS, pull people out of poverty, defend freedom, go to the moon—and produce exceptional people who even give their lives for civil rights and human rights.

<...>

So on one side of this campaign, we have a president who has made America lead like America again. What is there on the other side? An extreme and expedient candidate, who lacks the judgment and vision so vital in the Oval Office. The most inexperienced foreign policy twosome to run for president and vice president in decades.

How out of touch is Willard
He says China came over here and took jobs, when in reality he and others carried American jobs on a silver platter to China ...what an ass

Willard does know some foreign policy however it is all about how the banks work in foreign countries

'and produce exceptional people who even give their lives for civil rights and human rights'
'I would ask Willard on what side he is on
and no Romney has ever fought in any American war

As long as someone else steps forward Willard might support it

I was not aware that the Chinese could come over here, throw some jobs in a bag, sling it over their shoulder, and abscond back to China with them. I'm pretty sure American, corporations.... err, people... err, job-creator-gods did that all by themselves.

All he could do was say some nonsense about relying on his running the Salt Lake City Olympics experience.
