Five DeMatha players removed from program after incident involving prostitutes

Five DeMatha Catholic High School football players were removed from the program for an incident that occurred at the team hotel following the Stags’ season-opening win at Hillside (N.C.), according to two people with knowledge of the incident, including the parent of one of the players who withdrew from the school.

According to the parent, players hired prostitutes from a call service in North Carolina, and some engaged in sexual activities with those prostitutes in a hotel room. According to the two people with knowledge of the situation, the incident occurred at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning after DeMatha’s Friday night game.....

....According to sources, bed checks were done at 1:30 a.m. A final hallway check was done at 4 a.m. and DeMatha had 18 adults supervising the trip, according to the person who is not a parent of an involved player.....

....According to the parent of a player involved, players sneaked three prostitutes into the hotel at 5 a.m., after the final check. Players used a Web site to call and hire the prostitutes, according to the parent.

Double standard expressed by parents - if you don't supervise boys they'll hire prostitutes.

The article said the last check was 5 am. I'd say the chaperones were doing alright.

Maybe the parents should do a better job raising their kids.

enough money to hire call girls? What do they go for $200-$300 a visit minimum? Each kid would have to pony up at least $250.

I remember saving up to buy gas back when that was cheap.

Couldn't have afforded a hooker even if I wanted one.

about prior to the sexual revolution, more women did well in prostitution because they did not have amateur competition. Just thought I would throw that out.
