Shouldn't Obama remind everyone that half of Europe is in Recession

The fact that we are growing at all with such strong headwinds is pretty amazing. When Europe is not buying our products because of recession, thats a big headwind.

But yes, you are right.....the entire world economy is still very fragile. Actions taken by Obama helped to ease the drag the American economy was having on the rest of the world and began to contribute positively to global growth. But continued sluggishness in the U.S. combined with the serious debt problems in Europe are now slowing China, India, Brazil and other "powerhouse" economies. We may well be headed toward another global recession.

I doubt that tax more tax cuts for the American elite (they have had them for a decade now) or allowing companies to pollute and poison consumers and to screw anyone doing business with the American financial services sector is going to help. It is going to take investment in our future, sensible cuts to expenditures (e.g. unwarranted weapons programs) and reasonable tax increases (e.g. on the wealthy) to cure these ills.

But if RMoney gets in the death spiral will continue....
