(3,709 posts)When I lived in Florida, I volunteered at or attended a lot of Democratic campaign events, and I never saw a sign like this at any event.
This is just sad....and funny at the same time....

(21,506 posts)That sign was for people sitting in seats that had signs in them to be held up at a certain time that together made a big picture.
It wasnt you need to be enthusiastic, it was if you sit in these seats you need to hold up the sign when prompted.
Admittedly its a pretty thin distinction but the implication in the tweet is far from the reality of the sign.
Dont let it stop you from having fun with it but I dont see anything wrong with a campaign event trying to pull off a large mosaic at an appropriate time during a speech it makes for good optics and is done at large events all the time.
