had a clear policy on anything yesterday. In his words you can't beat an incumbent President with nothing and they offered nothing - Lyan with the tax loopholes and Rmoney re everything. He made it clear that htey need a Rove to remind them how much human capital and real money was invested in beating Obama.
Clearly he didn't hear Rmoney on the judges. His failed poker face is delish!!

The President was smart to put into place the some of the very things that Republicans had been clamouring for when there were cooler heads in that party. By having these as baseline positions, they will eventually be forced to track back to center or die as a party. You can't build anything when the nation is in freefall, as it had been during the Bush junta.

"You know nothing of my work and how you got a job teaching is...." Well it was almost like that...

Schmoe was saying "each side has not presented any specific plans for the future" Ezra said WRONG
and proceeded (whilst being constantly interrupted by beady eyes) to list a half a dozen specific
proposals from our President. Ezra clearly got under Joe's skin with all his damned FACTS instead of the false equivalency bullshit that Scar was pushing.

Dick Durbin had been blaming republicans and citing the numerous examples of their agenda of no and to make the president fail, etc after Joe asked something similar earlier ie who's fault/who's to blame?. Switch cameras to Joe with his glasses looking like he was about to blow his top as he asked 'you don't really think it is just ONE party do you?' waiting for the correct answer.

Back to Durbin and he is agreeing with angry Joe that democrats are just as bad and need to work with the republicans. Those same republicans who won't do anything unless all their demands are met and even then demand more or do what they want.

Great piece of crap programming that started out with reality only to have it dragged back to fantasy land by a republican.

I wish Bill Press didn't wander around with so many random callers and topics or I wouldn't have switched channels.

It's not just the GOP ticket, the whole party is in intellectual deficit. The strategy was frustrate the Negro President, block any type of measure that would help the economy then blame him for everything, with more than a little racist appeal mixed in. They never advanced a credible policy alternative on the economy, as that would have laid the ground, potentially, for compromise.

Now that they are being asked for specifics (yeah, well, how the fuck do you cut taxes without exploding the deficit again?) it's deer-in-the-headlights time. When you've got your entire base in foot-stamping, I-can't-hear-you mode, how to pivot into something resembling thoughtful adulthood?

This is the heart of the matter, and Schmoe never goes there. He just can't accept the depth of the problem.

And I love it! I have to keep reminding myself that the bounce could dissipate, but if the Obama campaign plays this right, and uses Clinton effectively, we can win this thing. It's amazing that even with the heavy assist Rmoney's receiving from the M$M, how much he still sucks.
