"Romney is an autistic Gordon Gekko in magic underpants."--Freeper comment (Bwaaahaaaaa!)

Fall for what?

Romney is an autistic Gordon Gekko in magic underpants. He couldn't build a rapport with a god damn prostitute. You don't need anything but a couple functioning senses to figure that one out.

Maybe his essence plays better on Kolob but this guy is an alien to any American from any walk of life. But i'm sure if Howard Hughes was alive today he and Romney would get along splendidly.

(You can tell I've been over there when I start speaking like a hillfuck.)

They are in total meltdown. I will never understand their propensity towards total denial. One guy was actually saying it was all BS and he KNOWS it's BS because Romney is raising more money (um, no) and drawing bigger crowds (big no.) The sad thing is, he probably watches nothing but Fox and Fox is probably reporting that. I swear sometimes I think that's why they are all so batshit crazy. They ignore hard numbers and listen to nothing but news sources who tell them what they want to hear. Then, when the outcome matches reality, they are stunned.

I just don't get it. There are times when the news is bad for our side and I turn it off because I don't want to listen to it over and over but I never try to pretend I didn't hear it or try to find some deluded soul who will tell me that 2+2 really doesn't equal 4. They do that shit all the time.

Read the thread called Operation Demoralization. I wish there really was such a thing. Sign me up for sure. I love demoralized freeper in the morning. Smells like victory!

Yeah it's been like that since the 90s and yet the guy is constantly hosting fundraisers to raise funds for the site.
What he uses that money for is known by only RimJob and God. I remember a friend showing me Free Republic back in the 90s and it looks identical to what it is today.

Here at DU we're on our 3rd massive update to DU and honestly, you can tell the admins put alot of effort and thought into making a very user friendly website. In fact this was the first convention I remember where the servers didn't almost crash here at DU. The other two conventions during DU's lifespan (2004/08) the admin's had stuff setup so if the server was overwhelmed with posters certain functionality would be cut back to ensure we could post. This time - not a single blip of downtime.

And we don't have fundraisers for the site anymore. You can get a membership which will remove the ads or you can just post for free - doesn't matter.

So welcome to DU
