Republicans have a serious problem on their hands

They can't sell Romney.

They have nothing to offer with this guy. Everything about him is problematic:

Bain - Vulture capitalism, lost American jobs, Chinese slave labor and profits from aborted fetuses

Governorship of Mass - While in charge of "Taxachusettes" he started up Obamacare's model, Romneycare and presided over a ho hum term.

Winter Olympics - Rumors of sweetheart deals.

Rich guyness - Lots of homes, car elevators, out of touchness

Foreign trip disaster - Foreign policy incompetence

Tax returns - He's hiding something

Ryan - Ryan's Budget

The RNC - A laughable disaster, he forgot to even mention the troops in his speech, all the lies

He opens his mouth - All of the lies and flip-flops

And that's just the tip of the iceberg, the one that his own campaign ship is about to crash in to.

Unable to sell Romney, his surrogates will try to deflect attention to President Obama. Things that are the Republicans fault; the obstruction, the incompetence and malfeasance, the racism and far right radicalism… Somehow, all of these are things that the President should be blamed for. Notice who they refuse to answer direct questions about Romney's positions with answers that it's just too wonky and complicated to explain.

They're dodging big time.

More and more, people are finding out facts about Romney and as they do, more and more are deciding that the President is a better alternative.

Romney is trying to back into the White House with ginning up the resentment, anger, ignorance and fears of older white working class voters. I don't think that there's enough anger out there to do the job.

Just being the white guy in the race won't seal the deal… America is changing.

For me this election is a referendum on bigotry. You vote for bigots or you vote against them.

If the repubs win, the haters in the party will take it as validation of their views & that cannot happen. There is no place for bigotry in a civilized society.

His Mormonism-- that's a hard sell for conservative christian voters. Many hard-core conservative christians view mormonism as a cult at best.

The Evangelicals don't like his religion.

And he insulted the Paulites.

Plus, there's a local third-party guy running in Virginia.
