Paul Ryan: ‘We stand with Rahm Emanuel’

Republican vice-presidential candidate Paul Ryan spoke out against the Chicago Teachers Union strike on Monday, saying he stands behind Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel's opposition to the demonstration.

This is so fucked up. The teachers are being reasonable - he needs to settle this issue now.

At my grandsons' school this morning, people were giving attaboys to the pickets.

He might be mayor again if he settles this by Friday, but if not....
