I Predict That SECDEF Esper Will Be...

out by the end of the week if not the end of the day today. During his CYA pressor it looked like he was, unexpectedly, called to the WH. Trump doesn't like what he's hearing.

Looks like Esper tried to lie his way out of a pickle, but in doing so, he got Trumpy-boy's attention. Trumpy-boy is on an authoritarian roll: kiss his ass or you're gone. If Esper does ANYTHING to diminish Trump-boy's otherwise stellar and god-like image, he's gone. It might happen on Friday. Esper deserves the firing because he accepted the job in the first place, with all of the caveats already on the table. He should have known it would come to this.

Lobbyist that are Tainted are of zero use to any Corporation and Esper is about as slimmed up as they come.

My guess is,he lives way beyond his means to start with.

At some point Secretary of Defense Counsel advised him that he was breaking the law and could be prosecuted after Jan 3rd.

He probably told mind that if any protesters died and they acted without the insurrection act being formally applied he could be charged as an accomplice.

been an interview with Brian Williams....was channel flipping about 4am. McCaffrey was criticizing the photo op with Trump marching across the grounds with a wedge of cabinet and military people. He seemed to think Esper may not have realized how it would look, although I am not sure how anyone at his level could be that unaware.

should be concerned too. I don't believe they could be used like this without their knowledge.

I wonder if either Mattis or Joseph Dunford expressed their dismay to the Pentagon. They surely still have contacts there.
