no i am not saying this act is comparable to an outright dictatorial coup, what i'm saying is that this is how it happens, with spineless people around him refusing to ever stand up to him, or getting replaced by people who are spineless, until eventually there is nothing left to stop him.

we laugh at how clownish he looks, and we keep laughing until one day we wake up and he is the dictator.
