Good idea NOT to reply to an email from Julianna Smoot at BarackObama.com

I got an email from her.

"Election Day is just weeks away -- this could be your last chance to join President Obama for dinner during this campaign.

If I were you, I wouldn't wait -- we'll even fly you and a guest out for free."

I replied, or tried to, tongue-in-cheek, inviting Obama to stop by our house for dinner anytime.
Weird things happened half way through typing my reply and I had to crash shut down my computer to regain control.

So...don't try and answer those emails.

I bet you can even tell EXACTLY what brand of computer I'm using,which ISP I have, what browser I use, and even count the keystrokes!

The brand of computer doesn't matter. The ISP doesn't matter. The browser you use doesn't matter.

Your post suggests that something nefarious was done to your computer by you replying to an email. That just cannot happen. Correlation is not causation.
