Remember Art Robinson?

He actually went on Rachel Maddow's show and proceeded to make an absolute ass of himself, running against Peter DeFazio.
Well, he's running again, and on the same platform.
And he's still selling those racist books to homeschoolers.

Slavery wasn't so bad, says book published by OR Republican for Congress

Bruce Wilson

"the negroes on a well-ordered estate, under kind masters, were probably a happier class of people than the laborers upon any estate in Europe." -- from George Alfred Henty's book With Lee in Virginia, currently printed, sold, and promoted by Republican Arthur B. Robinson's Robinson Books.
Art Robinson is campaigning to represent Oregon's 4th Congressional District in Congress
(Democratic Representative Peter DeFazio)

Improbably, the smackingly racist writing of 19th Century British author George Alfred Henty -- whose boys adventure novels had kind words for slavery, described Africans as having the intelligence of ten-year old children, and featured a comedic description of a slave being tortured with red hot irons (see quotes, below) -- may become an issue this year in an Oregon congressional race.

His name is Job Hou-Seye, and he runs for (whatever) office, every election cycle.
"A vote for me is a vote for God!"
(I guess then Sheboygan county hates God, then...)

He's the big guy with the beard in this video:

He had a large book printed and mailed to what seems like the entire voting registration in our district.. he is an idiot but has signs all over our little valley it is disgusting. This area is so red that they will probably vote for him, won't help him, one of our main local business people actually said she thought palin was smart and a good choice for VP.

Is truely disturbing. DeFazio is one of our best congressmen, and I will be profoundly disappointed if this jackass takes his seat.

The Republicans have been targeting DeFazio since 2010. They've been raising TONS of Money for Art Robinson through various astro turfing groups. DeFazio is starting to tick up in the polls, but he's yet to catch Robinson at this point.

I do like laughing at the early 70's fashions and haircuts, and they did have some damn good singers and musicians.

9. Robinson Leading DeFazio? NOT - show me the poll

The idea that Art Robinson is leading our great member of Congress, Pete DeFazio, is not sane.

The post that states polls show Robinson ahead is very suspect. I've seen nothing in our local press and a Google search on the 2012 election only turned up polls and projections that DeFazio is ahead.

OK, show me the link to a poll that indicates Robinson is ahead.

BTW - the crazy lady up the street with the Art Robinson yard signs taped all over her Cadillac doesn't count. LOL
