Something interesting happened last night and today. Thank you, Mitt!

Last night I mentioned the Romney video and the gist of what he had said to my daughter who is in her late twenties. She never, ever shows any interest in politics. We briefly discussed how horrible Romney's comments were and how hurtful. She has been at points in her young life when she had to rely on government help due to having three children, one with Down Syndrome, and separating from her husband for a while. She was quite offended by Romney's comments, especially since she and her husband have worked out their problems, are now back together, are both working full time jobs, and are both going to school. They are doing everything they can to succeed in life and take care of their children.

Today she called me at work. She sounded very excited to share with me that one of her friends had posted the Romney video on Facebook and it had spurred a lengthy political discussion about Mitt Romney's horrible and hateful comments. They were all quite disturbed by it and talking about what a jerk he is.

Needless to say, he will get no votes from them!

So, thank you, Mr. Romney for awakening even a little bit of political awareness in my daughter. She has learned a few things and they do not bode well for your candidacy.
