... you've got to watch Lawrence's show when it repeats in three hours.

Or record it.

He is using all the different pieces of the secret tape to absolutely destroy Rmoney.

Mitt said things that are actually even more damning personally than the 47 percent remarks.

I've got to listen to the whole thing now.

how there are some people who think that minorities (hispanics, blacks) have/had it so much better than our white counterparts.

I have to see the entire thing over again too, I only caught bits.

Just wow that people could actually think that.

“If the Hispanic voting bloc becomes as committed to the Democrats as the African-American voting bloc has in the past, then we are in trouble as a party and as a nation.”

It was the "as a nation" point Lawrence O'Donnell and his guests were talking about.

GOP needs to reach out more to hispanics. I'm all for bashing Romney on every idiotic thing he says like the 47% thing - but I want to make sure we get it right.

why would having Hispanics voting for Democrats put the nation in trouble? I can certainly see why it would put the repubs in trouble but adding "and as a nation" puts a very different context to it, imo.

We are trying to read too much into this. What he says outright and blatantly is bad enough that we don't need to embellish. Anyway, all we have to do is wait until someone asks him to clarify the statement. He will oblige us by saying something idiotic about Hispanics. Let's just give this another twenty-four hours.

There is absolutely no need whatsoever to embellish anything. They are doing more than enough embellishing on their own. As they say, "Ruth is stranger than friction."

Except for the "if" part. We are past "if".

The GOP party is for old white guys, who are going nutz because someone expained demographics to them, and they KNOW they cannot return "their" America to "white rule only".
Tho god knows they are trying, via voter supression, draconian immigration laws, cramming as many people of color into prison as they can, and destroying the public school system.
