Ryan: Romney ‘Obviously Inarticulate’ In Hidden Camera Footage (VIDEO)

Paul Ryan told KRNV in Reno, Nev., Tuesday that Mitt Romney was "obviously inarticulate" in the hidden camera footage of a May Romney fundraiser in which Romney said 47 percent of Americans are dependent on government assistance and will therefore vote for President Obama.

"He was obviously inarticulate in making this point," Ryan said. "And the point we're trying to make here is...

Actually, it doesn't matter what "point" you were "trying to make" (I'm sure it's more bullshit and lies). The only thing that matters now is that you just called the idiot at the top of the Republican ticket "inarticulate." Now back up and run over him again.

Damage control isn't what it use to be.

Ryan Criticizes Romney Comments At Private Fundraiser: ‘Obviously Inarticulate’

By Judd Legum

In an interview this evening with NBC Reno, Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan was critical of comments Romney made at a private fundraiser in May, dismissing 47% of American as people who can will never “take personal resonsibility and care for their lives.”

Ryan said Romney’s remarks were “obviously inarticulate.” Asked if he thought Mitt Romney regreted his comments, Ryan responded “I think he would have said it differently, that’s for sure.” Watch it:

At a press conference last night, Romney called his comments at the May fundraiser “inelegant” but largely defended his remarks.

In a separate interview with a New Hampshire station Ryan was asked if he agree with Romney’s remarks at the fundraiser. He responded, “no.”

Romney wasn't inarticulate at all. He said exactly what he meant. Have to listen again but he only fumbled the numbers a bit.

We know that. The point is that Ryan is out trying to do damage control, meaning they're experiencing significant backlash.

And the train wreck continues: Romney is standing by his point, and Ryan is rewriting it. In fact, he's disagreeing with the point Romney made.

As usual, your framing is flawless.

They say, never hit a person when they're down. In this case, given the decades long unsportsmanlike conduct by the opposition, I would say it is obligatory.

This is a blessed gift that the Republic Party has bequeathed us. To not take advantage would be a mortal sin.

These weekly, and even daily, Republic meltdowns are increasingly leaking into the M$M news cycle. They smell blood on the water, but they still haven't crossed the Rubicon (or river Styx) to enable to pose the question, How big will the Democrats win?

That will happen. In the meantime, let's not squander the opportunity. I will be phone banking in the coming weeks. I do not intend to stop until election day. I will not give up until we have the White House with a clear mandate, and clear majorities in both houses of Congress.

That's the opportunity we have this year.

Everytime Mitt has screwed up, the pundits found a way to lessen the impact with their "it's not that bad," "Dems do it too" or "give Mitt a break" BS spin.

This isn't a screw up about foreign policy (Romneyshambles or the Libya response, though that took hold because Americans were attacked). This time Mitt is attacking half the American people. This time his coldhearted and despicable dismissal is personal.

Of course, in Lyin' Ryan's lexicon, "inarticulate" is synonymous with "insufficiently mendacious."

As with Bush, I think this shows that a) Romney was saying something he's comfortable saying on the video and b) that republicans like to say that facts are the opposite of what they really are.
