Can't wait for Mitt's take on this one: Small business owners favor Obama (47%) over Romney (39%)

Austin Business Journal:

Tuesday, September 18, 2012, 7:36am CDT

President Barack Obama leads Mitt Romney among small business owners, according to one new survey.

The economy and job creation is the most important issue in this election for almost half of small business owners polled in a new survey, which also found that President Barack Obama leads Republican challenger Mitt Romney by 47 percent to 39 percent.

(Particularly after Mr. 13.9% has had a chance to ask those small business owners just who they think the real freeloader is.)

'The survey of 6,145 small business owners was conducted by the George Washington University School of Political Management and Thumbtack.com, the Business Journals reports.'

They'll ignore it, of course. WE get to run with it.

A) Unlike mega-multinational-corporations, small businesses don't rely on outsourcing, and loopholes in the tax code to make their money, or reduce their tax burden to zero. They don't earn a living with tax code trickery, they actually have to WORK for it.

B) Small businesses owners are rarely multi-millionaires who benefit from the types of upper income tax cuts (especially CAPITAL GAINS tax cuts) that Republicans typically propose.

C) Small businesses depend on LOCAL CUSTOMERS having spare cash to spend, and they REMEMBER the fact that the Republicans BLOCKED any and all attempts by the Democrats to make sure that the regular people had more cash to spend.

D) They remember that the Republicans BLOCKED the Payroll Tax Holiday the Democrats were trying to pass (until they finally yielded to public pressure to stop).

E) Despite what Republican strategists may think, small business owners DO NOT sympathize with a big business CEO like Romney. Mainly because small business owners work their asses off, and either produce things to sell, or provide a service. As opposed to egocentric CEOs who conjure fake wealth out of thin air while producing nothing, stack their BoGs with cronies that in turn give them huge compensation packages, fudged stock options based on falsified stock values, and fantastic golden parachutes so that they make fortunes even when they're running their companies into bankruptcy.

Small business owners have NOTHING in common with multi-millionaire vulture capitalist. They earn money by (simply) making things and selling them. As opposed to destroying things, looting them, and then hiring an army of tax lawyers to hide the profits in Switzerland.

lower interest rates from the federal reserves.

large companies are going to have to move, and move quickly. and start using that saved capital soon or be left in the dust by upstarts.

after all, that's how they got where they are now. most multinationals/large corporations were founded in the 2 decades prior of the great depression.

with the new deal and old monies refusal to get with the program, the republicans we destroyed and have never truly recovered.

even this so called "conservative ....oh what do they call it... swing i guess of the '80-'08, well, to be truly honest is horse shit.

America has never been a conservative nation. Ever. American until 1900 was as corrupt, family crushing, opportunity hostile, dream destructing developing county that all industrial nations went through because of the technology and concentration of wealth. Fact : a majority of Americans could not vote until 1917. Fact : In many states 18% of the population could not vote until 1965. Fact : Approximately 5-7% of the population could not vote until 1973.

But wait there's more.

We all know that Constitution of the United States, you know, teabaggers, the one written in 1789, only allowed, white, male land-owners (oh, and your condo or basement doesn't count.) 2 Acres Brah and you had to own it out right.

(there weren't mortgages back then, you see... That whole credit based off you're ability to work hard, earn a little and pay off a loan. secure a future for your family by a little private investment from a local bank. That was Alex The MUTHER F**KING HAMILTON'S Baby. and Jefferson Shot him for it.

He gave all of Jefferson's share croppers, no they weren't black. They were white. what lurking teabaggers? did you think T.J. was gonna let his PROPERTY ..see human beings... work to one day pay off the ridiculous debt the plantation owner made the WHITE SHARECROPPER of the 1700s incurred?

Oh hell no. see, he "bought them Fair and Square at the market." Said in a southern drawl, between his lips full dried leaf tobacco, "tore the fucker away from his wife and kids. cuz he's a strong negro. A well, the boy looked like he was about to die, the travel and all, from Africa." all the while the mother was so distraught form the loss of their daughter on the way over, that "well i didn't feel as though that was a good investment."

And there you have it, a snap shot of a 1790s walk through the port of savanna on what i can only picture in my head as being a shitty day to be born in America.

But you, see, liberals can all ways count on Conservative stupidity. The Cons of the day, see anti-federalist, enshrined in the Constitution the 10 amendments, buy amending the Constitution right after ratification, to protect the rights of the people and the states. the old adage, broken clocks and shit.

The amendments, back fired on the elite hardcore. eventually there was a federal bank guaranteeing land purchase in the the new territories. the Erie canal and the port of new york and Philly were upgraded, the Capitol City founded, and invest in rail road, industry and progress buy road constructions, all these things done by the new federal government.

TJ had to kill him, he sold off his blue blood heirs their eventual fiefdoms. (the Articles of confederation were on the verge of collapse... that's CSA mark I, not CSA mark II or III)

With this, a way to buy the new Ohio River valley territory land. OH POOP, there goes the party. A. Hamilton is the the true farther of American capitalism. and no. he was never president.)

--Fun fact, Thomas Jefferson, personally added the "only a natural born citizen clause" the the Constitution because he feared the rivalry of and ideas of Hamilton so much.

Sorry I'm ranting. So if you got two Acres, and they aren't for farming, you're looking at the top 5-8% of income owner's in the nation. to vote in all federal elections, you had own out right, 2 acres of land.

But what you didn't know, is that those laws didn't go away until 1820-30s?

all they have ever completed was the dismantlement of three core things: Taxes (see duties), regulations (see crime prevention) and union busting (see economic rights).

Since then they have been an entertainment business. A racket. a fraud, they never get what they claim they are going to do socially, and even economical, have fail miserably at repealing the new deal and great society.

see when THE people get rights, freedoms, and responsibility, We tend to like them. and Economic rights have been long over due in this nation.

So up until 1820, at one time 90% of Americans could not vote.
Until 1917 a full 50.1% of Americans could not vote.
Until 1965 an additional 18% was added the the rolls.
And in 1973 7% was added.

Not to mention, Asians, a generalized term "turks" and Arabs could not be citizens of the USA until i believe the 1920s or 1910s. but i don't remember.

NO FUCKING MITT ROMNEY AND THE FAT AS FUCK, GOVERNMENT CHECK COLLECTING, DENIM WEARING, GALLON OF COKE DRINKING, I know i saw that shit at KFC in Kentucky. Literally, a 2 gallon bucket of fucking coke. for sale. at. a. fucking K. fucking F. TEABAGGERS YOU ROAD IN ON CAN GO FUCK THEM SELVES.

BECAUSE IT IS US WHO ARE GETTING OUR COUNTRY BACK. THE ONE YOU STOLE FROM US IN 1800. THE ONE OUR COUNTRY's BRILLIANT LIBERALS AND INCREDIBLY STUPID CONSERVATIVES DESCRIBED IN DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE.

EVERY GENERATION HAS PUT WORK IN. DONE WORK FOR THE NEXT.

TO PUSH FOR REFORMATION THROUGH THE CONSTITUTION.

THE LIBERALS ARE WINNING, HAVE BEEN SINCE 1789. AND YOU'RE NOW ABOUT TO A MINORITY PERMANENTLY.

WE ARE AT THE MOUNTAIN TOP.

WE CAN SEE THE VALLEY.

AND ALL THAT IS IN OUR WAY IS MILLARD MITT the dimwit twit MONEY FUCKING BAGS SNARING LIKE HE HAS A PAIR.

---That is all. sorry.

I am a White, Male, 25, who did not pay federal taxes while i was unemployed for 2.5 years but i did pay sales tax, and other government fees shit heads.

I did not pay income taxes, while i was underemployed for 1.75 years because i only made 6,000 dollars annually fuck face Mitt.

Why, that's less then your willing to bet mitt.

I now am better off then i was 4 years ago. it took awhile to get back on my feet after you're friend BUSH stole all my money i had invested in not only the government through duties and fees paid, but also in the investments i made to the economy, and could have made in that 4 years had i been unable to find real, meaning full work.

I now make more money then you're average rural base voter that you just also insulted. and am more than happy pay my income taxes. sales taxes. fees. sos taxes. and what else America needs be because we are going to be the new greatest generation, if you think the 1930s-56 crop was bad ass, just remember, they didn't have the internet and our grandfather's shoulders to stand on.

WATCH OUT MITT BECAUSE MANIFEST DESTINY IS COMING FOR THE AVERAGE AMERICAN, WE ARE GONNA OWN THIS NATION.

NOT THE 1%, but they are welcome to be 1% co-owners with full and equal rights under the law.

again sorry.

this coming age needs to be one of investment. Not in money funds, but in schools.
Not in banks, but in infrastructure.
Not off shore tax havens, but in our planets future.
Not in multi-national corporation's, but in people.
All people.

We have so much too do.

Especially considering that all my friends who are severe right wingers (and worship money and "bidness&quot will find this hard to believe. They think Obama is bad for business, and we need a "businessman" as president instead of a "community organizer". Nope, they won't like this at all, LOL.
