Long time DU visitor, "Mr. Lesser of Two Evils" died early this morning.
Mr. Lesser of Two Evils (M'LOTE) was put out his miserable pathetic existence this morning after a long difficult illness that saw his strength decline significantly over the last few months. M'LOTE would visit DU from time to time. Sometimes it was because of the frustration related to a compromise that the President undertook in the face of a transient hostile opposition. Sometime it was accompanied by a malicious troll.
Early this morning Mitt Romney entered the room of M'LOTE who had been in a long time coma for some months and pressed a pillow extinguishing the last ounces of life from his waning putrid existence. Romney then flayed, beheaded, and quartered the corpse and sent it to 4 separate industrial crematoriums with subsequent releases of video tapes revealing what Romney is really about.
Romney made it impossible for any thinking, logical, compassionate person with intellectual integrity to ever again suggest with a straight face that there is any comparison between the basic governing philosophy between the two parties and these two candidates.
In the past it might have been offered with the highest of intentions (or something else) but from now on it cannot ever be offered in any form at DU except as comic relief.
Now should you see M'LOTE pop his head in from time to time, don't take it seriously. It isn't him. He is gone and dead to all DUers. If you see something that looks like M'LOTE you should treat it as some kind of comedic performance art, kind of like a Tony Clifton appearance after Andy Kaufman was long gone.
