when I realized that I could no longer afford DirecTV (and thus Jon Stewart and S. Colbert) and had to switch to basic cable. Then again, aint it nice to have basic cable to complain about! Who else has The Cisco Kid?

Someone gave me their old computer so I switched cases and made it a media center PC by tossing in a legacy ATI All In Wonder from my local computer swap meet for $40. It would have been considered cutting edge 10 years ago. What can I say,....there's still a VCR or two in the house....
