Post Number One (regarding the Romney video):
"The media makes Romney's video talking about legitimate statistics and campaign strategy sound like it's horrible, yet it's just facts."
Post Number Two (regarding Code Pink protests):
"From 2001-2008 there were 630 military fatalities under Bush and they protested the hell out of him. There have been 1,491 fatalities from 2009-2012 under Obama"
I guess 3,000+ fatalities in Iraq on Bush's watch falls out of the realm of "just facts"?

Only 620 military fatalities during the entire Bush administration? Who believes that?

(16,113 posts)The vast majority of people who were part of the peace movement under Bush have disappeared. Whether theyve left because they want to leave it to Obama, and that theyre happy that he for the most part withdrew the troops from Iraq and theyre hoping he will do that shortly in Afghanistan, and think that the drones are an alternative to a broader war. Or its people who are excited about the Occupy movement and want to put their efforts into the first chance that they feel theyve had in a long time to make some changes on the domestic front. Or they have been so financially devastated by the economic crisis that they really dont have time to commit to these issues.
