Obama leaves wedding gifts and note for Iowa couple
Neither the bride nor the groom is a registered Democrat, but they were thrilled.

Classiest president ever.

The wedding was at the same site as an Obama event, and the couple had problems getting ready because the parking lot was so full. The event ended on time and the wedding went smoothly, and afterwards the couple got their nice surprise from our president.

It was also reported on Iowa TV station WOI.

As one commentator noted:

Obama leaves a thoughtful note and gift. Romney wouldn't walk across the street to spit on you if you weren't one of his voters. He might pay someone else to do it though.

Even those who do not like Obama recognize how thoughtful this was:

I am by no means a fan of Obama, but I give credit where it's due and that was a thoughtful and classy thing to do.

Reminds me of the time that the president wrote a school excuse note for a student who came to see him.
