It's so cute how the GOP set the vote for the Veterans Job Bill...

In the first of two votes, the vote was to quickly end the debate with a vote of cloture of 95 yeas and 1 nay.

Then they voted 84-8 on a motion to proceed which is a vote to take a vote.

And then voted 58-40 on a motion to waive any budgetary consideration which killed the bill.

Now the one republican senator in a "blue" seat, Sen Brown of Mass. was "allowed" to vote yes on the motion to consider.

Plus all the rest of them could say, in senate speak, I voted for it before I voted against it.

Then there they can also claim they only voted no because it woudl increase the budget.

The last vote was to suspend the rules spelled out it the revenue nuetral provision that is invoked on any measure that may affect the budget.

Once that was voted down the bill was tabled.
