Since the crash of 1929

The difference in the electoral college vote percentage being more likely to show where the winning side focused their campaign than the popular vote difference.

The elected President only failed to get more than 60% of the electoral college votes in 7 of the 22 elections since the crash of 1929 while in only 5 of those elections did the losing candidate garner less than 40% of the popular vote.

1932 – Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) received 472 (88.9%) of the electoral votes

1936 – Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) received 523 (98.5%) of the electoral votes

1940 – Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) received 449 (89.6%) of the electoral votes

Global pandemic—over 160,00 Americans dead, and counting. Enduring (mostly peaceful) civil unrest around the entire country (not just riots in major cities as was the case in the 1968 election). Economy in free fall—perhaps 40 million Americans unemployed and perhaps 20 million families soon facing eviction.

This is truly uncharted territory. The idea that any incumbent President could win under these circumstances is ludicrous. Biden should win. If he doesn’t, it will be because the election was stolen.
