As I was reading and scrolling down, my first reaction Texas, nothing surprises me....
but as I continued on, I read that as of this writing the perpetrators were a black couple..
Man, this really upset me and I have several reasons . Does anyone feel I should not thread a
comment line based on the fact that they are black?
The story is horrible enough and is really upsetting. Maybe this should be the only part discussed...

(32,626 posts)The story is not about the beating, but that the perpetrators are black? Homophobes come in all colors.

(1,944 posts)it doesn't matter what color, creed, sex or whatever. If they are fed lies, hate and bigotry (whether by a politician, church or tv) that will be all they know.
I hope that the man who did this is prosecuted fully - may be as a hate crime?
As if no white morons have never beaten a gay person to death.
