Please see the new Protocols for bringing Firearms to the gunshow (heard today on a radio ad)

I heard this in an ad for the Gun Show coming to Richmond VA this weekend.

They specifically pointed out visting their website to see the new Protocals at the end of the ad. I guess all those shootings AT gun shows is "problematic" to the cause.

PROTOCOL FOR BRINGING FIREARMS TO THE SHOWS

1.Park in designated lot if there is one.
2.Make sure ALL FIREARMS are uloaded before leaving your vehicle, leave ammo in the vehicle.
3.Uncase your firearms before leaving vehicle.
4.Proceed to gun check with actions open and barrels pointed up.
5.Have firearms secured with zip tie at gun check.
6.Make sure firearms stay tied with ziptie until you leave the show.

It's a gun show .......... not a classroom filled with kids!

We need to avoid accidents ........so the extra safety precautions are necessary!

just longing to pull that pistol perched in their pants out and start plugging "bad guys" and "goblins" at the drop of a hat. Sensible precautions on their part - too bad we can't make such "protocols" nationwide when it comes to firearms, starting tomorrow. We'll get there some day.

it makes sense to make sure they are unloaded.

Just imagine going to an Auto convention where all the cars were running (ignoring the fume aspects)- don't you think there is a good chance that one of those cars would end up causing an "accident".
