But Judd apparently was busy earlier in the day: She met with the current and former chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, according to Politico, quoting an unnamed source. The current DSCC chairman is Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., and the former head is Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash.
During her remarks at an event called "Progress and Perspectives: Women's Reproductive Health A Conversation with Ashley Judd," she stuck to lengthy discussions about the public health challenges of the Third World and about violence against women."....(more @ link)

Judd for the last couple of months has been considering a challenge next year to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who is seeking a sixth term.
Judd has told potential supporters that she will make a decision on running sometime before the Kentucky Derby on May 4.
Some Kentucky Democrats and Republicans believe she intends to enter the race.
Traveling to the nation's capital with her mother, singer Naomi Judd, Ashley Judd gave no hints of her intentions.
