Deep Throat explains the Sequester

All the chatter about who is "winning" the sequester is inside-the-beltway literal blame-game stuff... if the Republicans are blamed then we "win."

But it is not winning, merely losing less. When we enter a double-dip recession that will not be a victory for the President or our Party, and surely not a win for the people. It is never good to be the President presiding over economic weakening.

The Republicans want the government to cease functioning, but we are disinclined to believe it. Surely they must have some other agenda that *makes sense.*

Even Lucy has her limits... if we put a bomb-collar on Linus so that if Lucy pulls away the football Linus' head will blow off then she's sure to hold the football this time!

"We" persist in thinking Lucy is playing a game with rules that make sense to us. If we had a little brother we would love him and not want his head to be blown off.

The Republicans are the bunker party. The end-of-the-world Party. Their whole sick schtick only makes sense the worse things are. They want Linus' head to blow off. They want any bad, fucked up thing.

They don't care about governing. They don't care about keeping the lid on. Hell, they *want* the poor to rise up, so they can shoot the poor in the streets. They want war. Think about that... they want war.

When someone WANTS to bomb Iran, why would they draw the line at 8% cuts in Head Start?
