So there was this clown on CBS News tonight about the sequester.

His name is Jim Awad, chairman of Plimsoll Mark Cap. Being I'm pretty close to the bottom of the 47% financially, I never heard of this person before nor his firm. This is what I could find.

http://www.plimsollmarkcapital.com/

http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/person.asp?personId=26977779&privcapId=734200&previousCapId=22623&previousTitle=Raymond%20James%20Financial%20Inc

According to the Bloomberg bio, he has many other Wall Street affiliations. That being said, he was interviewed on the news tonight about how the sequester was going to affect the nation. According to him everything will be Jim Dandy. The stock market is already reacting positively, according to him, and everyone is going to come out on top. I assume by everyone, he means the 1%.

On edit: I found the video:

http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50142050n

So this tells me that this is why the Republicans are willing to send the nation's workers and operations into the shitter because a small group of international billionaires are going to get filthier, richer than ever before.

I can't even say what I want to do right know, but I'm really angry.

If it is the kind of inflation that eats away at their hoarded capital. That is why they are trying to cut down on government borrowing. Because eventually inflation would even the field.

Inflation for the rest of us... gas and food... does not hurt them a bit. It actually helps them to hoard more.

They have theirs and they just want more.

Long time in the making. Now we reap the reward. And a bitter fruit it shall be.

....and it's been that way for quite some time.

Their interests are not the interests of the vast majority of those who elect them. Their interests are in line with the people who donated the most to send them to Congress and continue to "support" them financially after they get to Congress.

The biggest mistake we ever made was allowing corporations to form PACs and support candidates for office.

Until "we the people" do something about it, this will continue until we're all reduced to poverty levels.

And unless we, the unwashed masses, revolt, it will be one that keeps giving to that class of people for years into the future.

I just feel what this onepercenter said is important because it so explains what is behind this cavalier liking of the sequester and why throwing senior citizens under the bus with a chained cpi is so acceptable to Washington.
