Just two days after Pat Robertson encouraged bankrupt families to give him just $20 a month, the televangelist is now alerting viewers to beware of scamsters in religious garb quoting the Bible.Robertson offered the warning on Tuesday after a 700 Club report about the Profitable Sunrise pyramid investment scheme that lured people in with references to religious scriptures.
Beware of these scamsters, especially scamsters in religious garb quoting the Bible, the TV preacher said. I mean, run from them. Theyre all over the place.

Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.
47 They devour widows houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.
I wonder if he's ever actually read the book he likes to thump on so much?

(794 posts)For mr. Robertson prophet=profit.
The teachings of Christ indicate He had a sense of humor. If you were the God of all that is seen and unseen, how would you treat this character in an after-life scenario? Mr. Robertson has made a fool's bet of monumental proportions. I remain hopeful that he will become aware of his many "errors in judgement" before his death, and attempt to make amends. Evil sometimes loses it's grip on people before they die.
