al jazeera us, hopes, dreams, wishes

OK, we all know Current will become Al jazeera US. What are peoples hopes? I personally hope that they at least keep Cenk and TYT on, as well as the Vanguard series of documentaries. Asfar as new shows, i would love to see a Keith or Phil Donahue come back.. Any other thoughts?

I really prefer the segments when its not just him. He seems awkward by himself. I like the round table discussions they have and hope TYT continues on Al Jazeera US. What I'd really like is a straight news show, preferably covering a lot of international issues that the other channels won't cover.

I'll be done with them. Since they got rid of Spitzer and Granholm, those 2 morning shows are like the only shows I like on that channel. Every time I see Cenk or John Fugelsang, I almost feel like screaming at the TV or muting it. And those marijuana documentaries are just Snoresville.

to NYC with his radio show once he wasn't on TV anymore. I didn't think they would keep the radio shows. I believe Spitzer and Granholm got canned because they are ex-governors and not news people. They let Gavin Newsom go too as he is an acting Lt. Gov in California. Maybe they have a policy against hiring politicians as it would make them appear to be politically biased, not great for a real news outlet.

newsrooms honest again. If Al Jazeera keeps up the quality of their news reporting like they do on Al Jazeera English, which can be seen on FSTV and LinkTV, I hope that it will create a change in getting factual information to the American public. They have deep pockets and I believe they will be able to be competitive, and hang in there at a loss for years to come, something Al Gore couldn't do.

I hope they keep TYT. I like John Fugelsang as well. I would like to see them give Bill Press an hour. I don't think they will keep his radio show on or Stephanie's either. I wish they could fit Stephanie in somewhere though. I doubt if KO will be invited to join them though, but it would be nice to see Phil Donahue. I even wish they would keep on Joy Behar, and they might because they do a few entertainment type shows.
