(12,693 posts)The y2k-ish doomsday scenarios are a bit much but a targeted, sustained and sophisticated attack can bring an organization to it's knees. While no blood is spilled, the damage is real...and very, very expensive.
Escalating cyberwar to actual physical combat is a line I hope we don't cross...although drones are taking very close to it.
