'Today' Lands Jerry Sandusky Interview

NBC's Today show has secured the first interview with former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky since he was convicted on 45 of 48 accounts of child sexual abuse nine months ago.

He will speak from prison in the interview airing on Today on Monday. NBC says he will give his version of what happened on campus and say what he thinks of whistleblower Mike McQueary and late head coach Joe Paterno.

Sandusky famously spoke to NBC's Bob Costas for Rock Center in November 2011, prior to his trial, in a phone interview that produced several damning statements and won Costas a news and documentary Emmy.

"Am I sexually attracted to underage boys?" asked Sandusky to himself on national TV that night in November 2011.

That what he wants, and he'll use it as fantasy fodder for months to come. It's a way to victimize those boys all over again. Nobody cares what Jerry Sandusky has to say - he's been found guilty and sentenced to what amounts to life in prison, so let him serve out his time without further ado.

and there are enough sick people that will be interested in listening to this predator for 'tips' and support.

This is disgusting. As you said, the victims should not have to go through this kind of stuff. Shame on NBC.

Keep digging NBC. Soon your reputation won't have anything positive left - kinda like Today's current ratings.
