Hate isn't strong enough! "Zeal From a Master Strategist for Foes of Gay Marriage"

I HATE F'ers like this ... destroy the lives of millions for his selfish bigotry!!! Fat dumpy turd!

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/23/us/politics/brian-brown-fights-same-sex-marriage-with-zeal-and-strategy.html?nl=us&emc=edit_cn_20130322&_r=0

WASHINGTON — As gay couples fight for the right to wed, a little-known but determined force is working to stop them: Brian S. Brown, a 39-year-old father of eight who has raised millions of dollars from religious conservatives — especially his fellow Roman Catholics — to become the nation’s leading opponent of same-sex marriage.

Mr. Brown, president of the nonprofit National Organization for Marriage here, was instrumental in passing Proposition 8, California’s same-sex marriage ban, and is working in a host of states (and, more recently, in France) to defeat gay-friendly candidates and outlaw what he calls “the redefinition of marriage.”

Now his views are facing the ultimate American test: a hearing before the Supreme Court, which is considering whether to overturn Proposition 8 and perhaps declare it unconstitutional.

When the justices hear oral arguments in the case next Tuesday, Mr. Brown — unfazed by polls showing that a majority of Americans disagree with him — will be on the court’s marble steps, leading a march that he hopes will draw thousands who believe, as he does, that gay unions hurt children and threaten religious freedom.

Keeps tabs on Hate group leader Brian Brown. http://joemygod.blogspot.com/search/label/Brian%20Brown

Brown's pretty ugly--inside and out.

They are losing and they know it. These are their last throes.

I give credit to those who started pushing for gay marriage rather than Civil Unions 10-12 years ago. If civil unions had been the goal we would never have gotten this far, this fast. The strategy worked brilliantly!

It was around the time I first got on the net. I was like, "Just pick another word since they care so much about marriage. It will be better because LBGT have a word that signifies that their spouse is the same gender. Win-win."

I couldn't have been more wrong. Where I saw 20 years to get civil unions to be accepted--it looks like that time span will actually produce marriage. And a whole lot of reconditioning against the idea of separate but equal. Even conservative types are beginning to think civil unions are not good enough. Ha! I never could have imagined that.

marriage conflicts with the US constitution. That, really amazed me. I never ever thought I would hear a conservative say anti-gay marriage conflicts with the constitution. I guess part of me now likes conservatives!

do your religious beliefs give you the right to deny others' rights?

anyone who answers yes to this question does not respect the basic idea that is America.

second, it occurred to me reading about this hate-filled waste of oxygen, what control freaks these people are. The world, at least their world as they see it, is moving and changing far beyond anything their tiny little brains can recognize or accept. The only way they know how to respond is to dig in their angry little heels, and try to force people to see things the way they do, or, failing that, prevent other people from living the way they want. It would be sad if these control freaks were not so damned destructive.

"Control Freaks" united with "their god" using religion as a cloak for their modus operandi.

They are losing control of their flocks, so they have to pump out as much hatred as they can to try to reign back in the gullible and naive, the guppies and the lemmings ... so that they will do their bidding upon command.

Also, for some, it is a loss of bottom line $$$$$. I often notice how the 'Captains of Religion' adorn themselves with $$$$$ while many in the flocks go for wanting ...
