No weapon for Mark Kelly

Apparently there is a new codicil to the background check on weapons that disqualifies you from purchasing a weapon if the purchase is based on "political intent."

snip:

"In a statement posted to Facebook, Diamondback Police Supply owner Doug MacKinlay said that he was blocking the former astronaut’s Second Amendment right because he questioned the political “intent” behind the purchase."

Astronauts qualified to fly shuttles, not own weapons.

Wonder if Mr. NRA will come to his defense. Doubtful.

over questionable sales. Further, no FFL can block anyone's second amendment right.. What if the astronaut came in railing about Obama and stating he wants to buy a gun to strike a politically different position?

The shop owner is perpetrating a stunt to increase his own sales, while denying Kelly his right to keep and beat arms.

You are being, generously, inconsistent.

....and those heavily-armed goons outside of Obama's venues were defended at the time by our Gun Enthusiasts as individuals who were merely exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. Those of us who complained about the potential threat to a Democratic presidential candidate were dismissed as a bunch of alarmists. I think I made a sound bet; feel free to enlighten me if I'm wrong.....

I know it's much easier to pull lies from your ass than to actually research before you make repulsive, fallacious proclamations, but those who make repulsive, fallacious proclamations are farther askew than anyone who is expressing a divergent opinion..
