Breaking: From SCOTUSblog Twitter

Breaking: 1st update- #prop8 unlikely to be upheld; either struck down or #scotus won’t decide case. More in 30 mins.

2nd update: key vote Kennedy VERY uncomfortable striking down #prop8. Suggests dismissing case. Would leave in place 9th Circuit pro-#ssm ruling.

Kennedy has a libertarian strike preferring to leave a few things to the states. This in effect would, but prop eight would still be struck down

I live in fucking Oklahoma.

I should have the same rights as those in California and I expect the SC to end discrimination.

I've been in a relationship for 27 years with the same man and I'm tired of waiting.

So sick and tired of this shit! Why is it even an issue? Did you hear that weird defense attorney today? (Cooper) about marriage is "allowed" by the "state" in order for people to procreate?

I hope adopting a small terrier mix counts in our case, otherwise, we might as well just get our marriage annulled.

Someone from a red state will have to sue to get equal federal protection under the law as those who live in equal access marriage states.
