US Adrift Like Disabled Ship At Sea With GOP Obstructionism

There are so many issues that need to be addressed soon. The cultural issues dominate the scene while the country crumbles from an outdated infrastructure. And it seems as though there is no way to address issues until after 2014 with the hope that more progressive Dems win and they take back the House while holding the Senate.

The dirty little secret is that the GOP wants the infrastructure to crumble so it can be sold off to corporations even foreign ones. Yet they wave the flag and talk patriotism as the prepare to turn us over to our enemies.

And it goes deeper, the "checks and balances" thing is gridlock by design. The 18th Century model was a mechanical clock. Tick tock needs to give way to something fluid.

There is nothing to obstruct.

Both parties are working aggressively for the one percent.
