Top Republican Warns Of French People Illegally Crossing Mexican Border In South Texas

Top Republican Warns Of French People Illegally Crossing Mexican Border In South Texas

By Igor Volsky

During an appearance on a local radio station Thursday morning, Texas Senator John Cornyn (R) claimed that people from all over the world are now entering the country illegally through Texas and insisted that any Congressional effort to reform the immigration system must invest in border security.

“You gotta stop the flow of people coming across and my friends and your friends Edd who have places in South Texas tell me, as a matter a fact a guy told me last night, he said we’ve got people coming across our place speaking Chinese, French and basically all of the languages in the world, coming through and across our southern border,” Cornyn said during an interview on KSEV.

While lawmakers agree that border security should be part of any comprehensive immigration reform package, the U.S. border is more secure than ever before. Border crossings are at 40-year low — falling to their lowest level since the Nixon administration — and net undocumented migration is at or below zero. Border agents patrol every single mile of the border every day and the vast majority of the border already meets one of Homeland Security’s highest standards of security.

'Commies,' 'illegals,' etc., are all invoked whenever it suits their xenophobic purposes - no matter how long ago the bogeyman ceased being scary. If the goopers ever decide to rename themselves, I'd vote for reviving the 'know-nothing party.'

...there are. Racist dog whistles? He also said "basically all of the languages in the world."

I maintain that he is an idiot. Was the "but" intended as a defense?

You've got dirt poor border counties there where there are two vehicles for every sheriff's deputy. But they can only drive one at a time.

These goobers think in talking points. They are only interested in validating their own feelings and beleifs. If an actual fact becomes a talking point, it's pretty much by coincedence. And if someone refutes a talking point, for whatever reason - they become the enemy.

They are refugees from socialism, and from the dreaded Bureaus du Mort, which pitilessly deny care to those deemed unworthy.

Of course, you'll never find out about that from the librul media.

by those sneaky Canadians, you know...

Instead of raising suspicions by coming right over the border we share with them, they're floating on giant ice cubes taken from their igloos, down to the west coast of Mexico, where they make their way into the US to spread their evilness throughout the land.

First it was Celine Dion and Justin Bieber

Next it will be Poutine and moosemeat pot pies.

Now that Jorge is gonna be the state land commissioner, with no qualifications other than his last name, expect the GOP to be a lot nicer than they were.

French and Chinese speakers will be the new enemy, so now they'll lay off those speaking Spanish. Which is fine by me.

I'm wondering what kind of deals JP Bush is prepared to make to suit the oligarchs as the land commissioner. And to hear him wooing Texans in Spanish. I hope he doesn't pull off the folksy routine like GWB did.

Battleground Texas is in for a hard haul stamping out the GOP but OFA is probably set to help the Democrats there. Hope that DFA will help flip the state as well.
