"They're taking away our right to guns", you complain....

Well, what about the fact that "people with guns" are taking away other people's right to LIFE? Isn't the right to LIFE more precious than your so-called "right to own a gun"?

Hi,

The second thing these gun nuts usually wave in your face after they wave a gun is their bible. I seem to remember something in that bible about "thou shall not kill." Isn't that the most important thing !

A couple of shotguns, a .22 rifle, a wall hanger from 1851. How am I taking away anybody's "right to life"? I've never shot anybody, never even pointed a gun at anyone, and haven't hunted for years. So how am I taking away anybody's right to life?

There can be no such thing as a "right" to the means of conveniently depriving others of all their genuine rights at the whim of a shooter.

What we have, and what there can only be, is a political indulgence of guns and ammunition in the hands of the public.

That indulgence is, at worst, hostile to, and at best, in blatant disregard of genuine rights.

I own a few guns as well, and am an Atheist(nice stereotype we get), I have never harmed anyone with them nor do I intend to do so. How am I taking anyone's "right" to life?
