So, I make a contribution to the Democratic Congressional Campaign

Committee. And they say my contribution is flagged and will be screened by a staffer to make sure it meets their high standards. WTF is that all about? And they will get back to me on email with a receipt if they accept my donation. WTF? I'm kinda pissed, like my money isn't good enough to meet DCCC standards?

Making sure you are a US citizen, not a representative from some foreign power trying to influence US elections, that kind of thing?

Better to do it now than to be embarrassed/humiliated by "bad" contributions later, I'm guessing...

bit concerned the more I thought about it ... like maybe I had slipped a decimal point and was trying to give them 40k or something ... could have been a random audit.
