Over the course of each show he starts with victimization, decries how the Repubs relent on EVERYTHING to the all-powerful left, demeans "low information voters" (that is his new #1 issue) meaning the left not Fox News viewers, tells his followers to follow him out of the wilderness (the usual 2nd step), and then declares victory (step #3 of his schtick).....then he literally goes into a morose sad wailing about how they just can't win.

Today for instance he started with a Politico story that mentioned two Repub operatives cited by name who said that the Repubs just want this issue over because they know they look bad and it exhibits that people simply don't like them and he decried "It's only TWO OF THEM" ---30 minutes later he actually mentioned that 75 Repubs had filed an amicus brief with the court to allow gay marriage. Then, I was shocked, he actually said (in a near state of depression), "Well....sigh.... there is a difference between getting votes which they do and creating an audience which I do".

He has also has attacked O'Reilly "Ted Baxter" for mentioning "Bible thumpers", suggested that Al Sharpton is gay, and continued to use 8th grade "gay jokes" and innuendo.

He treats women like garbage, has been divorced four times, and yet he somehow has the balls to tell us who can and cannot get married. Go to hell, asshole.

over the notion that "marriage" is symbolic of something or anything. It is not a "status" or a "symbol", it is an actual committment to another person and sometimes really hard work. Taken seriously and personally (and if not, why bother?) is real and not in the least symbolic. But Rush would only seem to know of marriage as a symbol. He and his sort also confuse possession of a flag and saaluting it with patriotism. None of this stuff is symbolic, theoretical, or philosophical, it is real stuff that you do or you don't do.

It is almost painful to talk to anyone that is a fan of Rush Limbaugh.
