Reliable Background Checks.....Any Former Campaign Managers

Hello,

Has anyone here had any positive experiences with background check company's online. A member of one of my political groups is considering a run for local office and want to see what information could be brought up about him by let say another candidate. I am being asked to manage his campaign and we may want to look at our opposition record as well.

And Google Alerts can be your friend here too (for your candidate and the opponent).

If your candidate has any outstanding traffic tickets, back taxes, etc have him/her pay them off now (sometimes mortgage companies are late with property taxes).

I did some quick googling and I came up with this site, but it is not cheap.

I've never been a campaign manager but i have been a senior staffer on a congressional race. IME it's been rare that the candidate's background has come into play (I've been staff on 4 campaigns) but better safe than sorry right? And if you're not familiar with the political message box, familiarize yourself with it.
