but the new management, which has a proven track record, is attempting to resurrect the papers, at least the Inky. We don't know what is going to happen to the Daily News yet...

The media company I once worked for here in Detroit did a LOT of work with the good people at the Inquirer and Philly.com through a couple of foundations that care about such things as news and democracy.

I am very sorry to hear the tragic news, PCIntern.

from the old days. Many of them were patients of mine including but not limited to editors, columnists, and beat reporters. They were exciting times...I used to get great inside stories before the fact.
