Not Optimistic About Minimum Wage And Other Pro Worker Policies.

I do not feel optimistic about worker rights in this country. Any aggressive action to get these rights will be turned back by authorities that support the big corporations. We saw what happened to the Occupy movement which was a breath of fresh air. Demanding social and economic justice seems to by treated like treason anymore.

Despite all the hoopla and demonstrations it seem like workers are being ignored.

Send their "inevitable" Wall St. crony candidates down to defeat. Send Hillary's chances of ever being elected President to sleep with the fishes. Torch Big-Oil's bestie Brian Schweitzer at the same time.

You can't change shit without an insurrection. Fuck "electability" as a consideration...the GOP isn't putting up an "electable" candidate in 2016...so screw "electability" considerations...let's give America a choice on their future.

If we all stick together and demand pro-labor pro-middle-class anti-poverty candidates we can win.

She supported Goldwater and that doesn't wash off. Once a RW scumbag, forever a RW scumbag.

...then bash them with it in the November midterms.

That's why you see guys like Mitt Romney saying there should be an increase. They will attempt to push through a paltry increase (say 8.50) and take bows for it.

Bottom line -- if the Republicans are serious about wanting to reduce spending on "entitlements" and reduce budget deficits, a $15 minimum wage pretty much does that trick. Unfortunately, that constant annoying whine you'll hear is NFIB members complaining they can't stay in business.
