It's the Fox entertainment division, which has nothing to do with Rupert's NewsCorp. They are different parts of a big corporation. I suspect one does not influence the other too much. After all, Cosmos is preceded by Family Guy and The Simpsons which I don't think Fox News likes too much (similarly Cosmos).

But yes, Neil deGrasse Tyson has been hitting it out of the park every week.

I love what they are doing with this series. They are taking the idiots on plein jeu, the only way to do it!

I'd really like to share it with my grandson when he's here on Friday nights. He's only 9 so the tv show time is much too late for a school night. What a gorgeous and intelligent introduction to grown-up science.
