CNN Morgan Spurlock on Income Equality (watch it on repeat if you can)

It's an hour of very liberal argument FOR social services, FOR safety net, FOR $10.10 minimum wage, FOR full employment, FOR SNAP, FOR education....

Very watchable, set in New Orleans.

(I hope Spurlock isn't secretly a RWNJ.)

But I wish some mention had been made that other nations do not allow for the out sourcing of jobs, and other nations have tariffs.

From Sallie Mae, the student loan company, it was amazing to find out that the people calling were all from some call center in some Pacific Rim nation.

How the friggin' F__ can someone pay back their debts if even the damn student loan service calls centers are in foreign places, manned by foreigners, so that the well connected people who own Sallie Mae maximize their profits? (Sallie Mae is a private company, although it allows you to believe you are dealing with the government.)

Then over the last few months, I have come to find out that the real reason behind all this sudden push to have cars that drive themselves is so that in a few years, the deliveries will be made by robotized trucks! That about sews up the last little piece of industry where older people can find work. I mean,a s pathetic as it is that people in their late fifties and sixties are driving delivery, and even big rigs, as the economic collapse pushed them out of retirement and back into the work force, but at least that way they have some way of paying the bills. This robotized vehicles situation is nuts.

even desirable. Having an opportunity for meaningful work is essential. Law makers have got to be on our side. We have to reverse this trend. The country is a mess.

Not sure if CNN re-plays them or not. They ought to replace Wolf with repeats of Spurlock.
